This report provides an overview of a multi‐module Open science kit – a diverse set of training materials on different open science aspects for life sciences, social sciences, humanities, computing, engineering and other disciplines being developed in collaboration with FOSTER project. Targeted towards researchers, content providers, research managers, funders, research communities and innovators the kit aims to progress researchers from being aware of open science to being able to put open science into practice in their daily workflows..

Building on Open Science Training Handbook (available as gitbook at https://book.fosteropenscience.eu/ and in the github repository at https://github.com/Open-Science-Training-Handbook ), and on successes of over 40 online and face-to-face events that FOSTER organized in 2017-2018, this report provides good practice recommendations on open science training targeting researchers and multipliers – train-the-trainers approaches for research support staff and librarians. Deliverable 5.4 – Roadmap and guidelines to promote Open Science in Transport Research encompasses the vision of the community of Open Science in transport research and the strategy and framework conditions towards fulfilling the vision by 2030. This deliverable studies the variety of Open Science activities done in different countries to find the main barriers and suggest best practice methods for EOSC and the transport research community working with open science. The activities were accomplished through interviews and desk research. Interviews with different stakeholders (government, funders, data owners) and document studies where done in Norway, Belgium and Greece, and also interviews with some of the main transport research organisations in Europe were included to get their perspective on Open Science as well..
