3D lithiphilic/-phobic interlayer for zero-excess Li batteries

Abstract: A novel interlayer based on a lithiophilic Ag and lithiophobic Cu doped carbon fiber material for zero-excess Li batteries was synthezised and characterized. It was found that the electronic conducitivty seems to be one of the key parameters to enable a homogenous Li plating/stripping for over 600 h at 2.5 mAh/cm2.
