520 _ _ |a Transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) are a highly versatile group of materials, showcasing various physical phenomena, such as topological electronic structures, magnetism, superconductivity, and charge-density waves. The layered nature of these materials facilitates easy combinations with other van der Waals (vdW) materials. The superconducting TMDC NbSe2 is a notable example, exhibiting unconventional Ising superconductivity with a critical temperature (TC) of 7K, especially resistant to magnetic fields in certain orientations (in-plane vs. out-of-plane).Our research focuses on vdW heterostructures that combine magnetism and superconductivity, presenting exciting possibilities for investigating topological superconductivity or realizing a field-free Josephson diode. To understand the impact of disorder on the electronic structure, we utilize the Coherent Potential Approximation. This method extends the KKR formalism to account for disordered systems by assuming an averaged effective medium.
