AB - D7.5 reports on the data assimilation systems for physically basedmodels developed in WATERAGRI. The data assimilation systems aredesigned to provide the best possible estimates of hydrologicconditions in agricultural watersheds. For WATERAGRI, we assimilatesoil moisture and groundwater levels in near real-time to quantifymodel uncertainty and create less uncertain initial conditions (states)for site-specific forecasting models. D7.5 shows the first simulationswith and without data assimilation and how agricultural decisionmakingat the plot scale could look like when physically based modelsare used operationally.
