abstract = {Open Science practices can be challenging for researchers:
They may need to overthink their scientific workflow and
some previously practiced research methods as well as to
learn new practices such as preregistration or replication.
Moreover, opening up their research may require additional
steps in the scientific process and possibly also additional
resources. In February 2021, the University of Mannheim has
established an Open Science Office supporting researchers at
all career stages and from all disciplines. The Open Science
Office of the University of Mannheim offers individual
consultations, trainings in various formats as well as Open
Science grants and Open Science checks. It is tightly
intertwined with the already existing Open Access support
and interacts with the research data center, research
support unit and other players within and outside the
university.},
