Abstract: NASA’s Transform to Open Science (TOPS) mission is being designed to support the adoption of open science and broaden participation in science. During the 2023 Year of Open Science TOPS is planning a broad suite of resources, events, and activities. TOPS efforts are built on relationships with a variety of diverse communities. Critical to these relationships is open, candid, and complete two-way communication. In the spirit of openness and transparency, this community forum presentation focuses on the introductory suite of the TOPS open science curricula, OpenCore. The focus of the curricula will give the learners participating a basic understanding of open science, and its ethos, why it benefits them, and how to actively participate in open science communities.
