Entropy flow in Cross-Resonance gate

Abstract: We consider a Cross-Resonance (CR) gate connected to external reservoirs. We study the effect of entangling operation takingplace in CR gate on the entropy flow from the reservoir. Obtaining such a relation makes it feasible to control the entropy flowwithin the system by controlling the entanglement between the qubits.
