Abstract: STrace Inspector is a python library for transforming large amounts of traces of system calls generated by the strace utility into a Directly-Follows-Graph, which can be used to analyse computer programs in terms of requests make to the operating system. This tool is developed at the Jülich Supercomputing Center, Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany, with the aim of enhancing support for users in terms of analyzing and optimizing HPC codes. This tool is a supplement to the scientific article: "Inspection of I/O Operations from System Call Traces using Directly-Follows-Graph" (DOI: 10.1109/SCW63240.2024.00196).
