%X This work assesses the feasibility of large-scale simulations for industrial applications using a symmetry-preserving discretization method for unstructured collocated grids in LES of turbulent flows. The method ensures stability without artificial dissipation and maintains portability through minimal algebraic kernels. Key challenges are addressed, such as the low arithmetic intensity of sparse linear algebra and efficient computation. A scalability analysis across MPI-only, MPI+OpenMP, and GPU architectures demonstrates the method’s effectiveness in enhancing parallel efficiency and supporting large-scale simulations.
