%X Advancements in remote sensing techniques have enabled the measurement of solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF) as a key photosynthesis indicator. In the present study, the analysis of potential optimal SIF detection from a UAV by a novel camera sensor is simulated in the Discrete Anisotropic Radiative Transfer (DART) model. The sensitivity study investigates the effects of crop structure, image noise, and pixel size on the quality of the SIF signal retrieved for alfalfa and maize canopies. Based on the DART-simulated results, the study will set the optimised experiment configurations for future field measurements considering the specific crop characteristics.
