The ACM Gordon Bell Prize for Climate Modelling was presented at the International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis (SC25), held in St. Louis, Missouri.<br><br>The Gordon Bell Prize for Climate Modelling will be awarded every year for ten years beginning in 2023 to recognize the contributions of climate scientists and software engineers. Nominations will be selected based on their impact and potential impact on the field of climate modelling, on related fields, and on wider society by applying high-performance computing to climate modelling applications. The award aims to recognize innovative parallel computing contributions toward solving the global climate crisis. Nominations will be selected based on the performance and innovation in their computational methods and their contributions toward improving climate modelling and our understanding of the Earth’s climate system. Financial support for this $10,000 award is provided by Gordon Bell, a pioneer in high-performance and parallel computing. 001049193 536__ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF4-5111$$a5111 - Domain-Specific Simulation & Data Life Cycle Labs (SDLs) and Research Groups (POF4-511)$$cPOF4-511$$fPOF IV$$x0 001049193 536__ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF4-5112$$a5112 - Cross-Domain Algorithms, Tools, Methods Labs (ATMLs) and Research Groups (POF4-511)$$cPOF4-511$$fPOF IV$$x1 001049193 536__ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF4-5122$$a5122 - Future Computing & Big Data Systems (POF4-512)$$cPOF4-512$$fPOF IV$$x2 001049193 536__ $$0G:(DE-Juel1)BMBF-01LK2204D$$aBMBF 01LK2204D - WarmWorld Modul 3 "Easier" (BMBF-01LK2204D)$$cBMBF-01LK2204D$$x3 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-Juel1)192255$$aBode, Mathis$$b1$$ufzj 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-Juel1)196846$$aRömmer, Manoel$$b2$$ufzj 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-Juel1)129125$$aHoffmann, Lars$$b3$$ufzj 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-Juel1)129121$$aGriessbach, Sabine$$b4$$ufzj 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aKlocke, Daniel$$b5 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aRedler, René$$b6 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aSchnur, Reiner$$b7 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aHaak, Helmuth$$b8 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aKornblueh, Luis$$b9 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aHohenegger, Cathy$$b10 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aBrüggemann, Nils$$b11 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aStevens, Bjorn$$b12 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aFrauen, Claudia$$b13 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aEngels, Jan Frederik$$b14 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aBockelmann, Hendryk$$b15 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aAlexeev, Dmitry$$b16 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aChegini, Fatemeh$$b17 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aColes, Jonathan$$b18 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aGila, Miguel$$b19 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aSawyer, William$$b20 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aCalotoiu, Alexandru$$b21 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aHoefler, Torsten$$b22 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aBudanaz, Yakup$$b23 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aMazumder, Pratyai$$b24 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aCopik, Marcin$$b25 001049193 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aWeber, Benjamin$$b26 001049193 8564_ $$uhttps://awards.acm.org/bell-climate 001049193 909CO $$ooai:juser.fz-juelich.de:1049193$$pVDB 001049193 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588b)5008462-8$$6P:(DE-Juel1)145478$$aForschungszentrum Jülich$$b0$$kFZJ 001049193 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588b)5008462-8$$6P:(DE-Juel1)192255$$aForschungszentrum Jülich$$b1$$kFZJ 001049193 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588b)5008462-8$$6P:(DE-Juel1)196846$$aForschungszentrum Jülich$$b2$$kFZJ 001049193 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588b)5008462-8$$6P:(DE-Juel1)129125$$aForschungszentrum Jülich$$b3$$kFZJ 001049193 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588b)5008462-8$$6P:(DE-Juel1)129121$$aForschungszentrum Jülich$$b4$$kFZJ 001049193 9131_ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF4-511$$1G:(DE-HGF)POF4-510$$2G:(DE-HGF)POF4-500$$3G:(DE-HGF)POF4$$4G:(DE-HGF)POF$$9G:(DE-HGF)POF4-5111$$aDE-HGF$$bKey Technologies$$lEngineering Digital Futures – Supercomputing, Data Management and Information Security for Knowledge and Action$$vEnabling Computational- & Data-Intensive Science and Engineering$$x0 001049193 9131_ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF4-511$$1G:(DE-HGF)POF4-510$$2G:(DE-HGF)POF4-500$$3G:(DE-HGF)POF4$$4G:(DE-HGF)POF$$9G:(DE-HGF)POF4-5112$$aDE-HGF$$bKey Technologies$$lEngineering Digital Futures – Supercomputing, Data Management and Information Security for Knowledge and Action$$vEnabling Computational- & Data-Intensive Science and Engineering$$x1 001049193 9131_ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF4-512$$1G:(DE-HGF)POF4-510$$2G:(DE-HGF)POF4-500$$3G:(DE-HGF)POF4$$4G:(DE-HGF)POF$$9G:(DE-HGF)POF4-5122$$aDE-HGF$$bKey Technologies$$lEngineering Digital Futures – Supercomputing, Data Management and Information Security for Knowledge and Action$$vSupercomputing & Big Data Infrastructures$$x2 001049193 9201_ $$0I:(DE-Juel1)JSC-20090406$$kJSC$$lJülich Supercomputing Center$$x0 001049193 980__ $$aaward 001049193 980__ $$aVDB 001049193 980__ $$aI:(DE-Juel1)JSC-20090406 001049193 980__ $$aUNRESTRICTED
