| 520 | _ | _ | |a PICO 2024, the Eighth Conference on Frontiers of Aberration Corrected Electron Microscopy, took place at Kasteel Vaalsbroek in the Netherlands, between 21 and 25 April 2024. PICO is one of the most prestigious conferences in this research field and has provided an excellent and inspiring opportunity to communicate the latest scientific discoveries and technological developments. PICO 2024 was organized by the Ernst Ruska-Centre, a national infrastructure jointly operated by Forschungszentrum Jülich and RWTH Aachen University. The conference has attracted more than 240 participants from 25 countries throughout the world, and the program committee has put together an oral program including 58 scientific keynote lectures. |
