Abstract: Massive-Parallel Trajectory Calculations (MPTRAC) is a Lagrangian particle dispersion model for the analysis of atmospheric transport processes in the free troposphere and stratosphere. This repository hosts MPTRAC version 3.0, as described in: Hoffmann et al. (2025), MPTRAC: A high-performance Lagrangian transport model for atmospheric air parcel dispersion, Journal of Open Source Software (JOSS).
