Minisymposia

From time to time I organize topical Minisymposia which aim at bringing together both leading experts and graduate students for exchange of new ideas, giving beginners in the field an overview of what are a 'hot' questions, and possibly initiating collaborations. These one-day minisymposia are very informal and leave ample time for discussions. So far there have been minisymposia on the density matrix renormalization group and on cooperativity in biophysical systems.
