Curriculum Vitae of H. Wang

Dr. Hao Wang joined the Soft Mater Group at the Solid State Physics Institute at the Forschungzentrum Jülich in April 2001 as a post-doc. Before that, he worked at the Nankai University (Tianjin, PR of China) as a teacher. He received his bachelor's degree in 1994 and his doctor's degree in 1999 at the same university with major in physics. The topic of his doctoral thesis in theoretical physics was "Sedimentation of Potential Interacting Spheres in Dilute Dispersions" with the aim to develop a theory for the sedimentation of colloidal spheres influenced by the van-der-Waals attraction and electric double layer repulsion. The sedimentation in monodisperse suspensions as well as in polydisperse suspensions at small, intermediate and large Peclet numbers is also covered.
