Because stroke patients in the acute and sub-acute phase of a stroke often show a general slowing and restricted resilience, investigation may be limited and is often only manageable by means of instruments that can be used at bedside. Preferably such neuropsychological tests should also be normalised for the target group. An overview of the neuropsychological instruments available in German, which were developed for or applied to stroke patients in the early phases of stroke and rehabilitation, is provided here. One of the nine instruments presented is the newly developed Cologne Neuropsychological Screening for Stroke Patients (German: Kölner Neuropsychologisches Screening für Schlaganfall-Patienten), which is introduced here. The instruments differ in form of investigation, duration, material volume and standardisation. The choice of a particular instrument in a given clinical or scientific context explicitly depends on the diagnostic goal as well as the resilience of the patient. 000201361 536__ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF2-333$$a333 - Pathophysiological Mechanisms of Neurological and Psychiatric Diseases (POF2-333)$$cPOF2-333$$fPOF II$$x0 000201361 588__ $$aDataset connected to CrossRef, juser.fz-juelich.de 000201361 7001_ $$0P:(DE-Juel1)131720$$aFink, G.$$b1$$ufzj 000201361 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aKalbe, E.$$b2 000201361 773__ $$0PERI:(DE-600)2037701-0$$a10.1055/s-0033-1350452$$gVol. 81, no. 09, p. 482 - 492$$n09$$p482 - 492$$tFortschritte der Neurologie, Psychiatrie$$v81$$x1439-3522$$y2013 000201361 909CO $$ooai:juser.fz-juelich.de:201361$$pVDB 000201361 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588b)5008462-8$$6P:(DE-HGF)0$$aForschungszentrum Jülich GmbH$$b0$$kFZJ 000201361 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588b)5008462-8$$6P:(DE-Juel1)131720$$aForschungszentrum Jülich GmbH$$b1$$kFZJ 000201361 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588b)5008462-8$$6P:(DE-HGF)0$$aForschungszentrum Jülich GmbH$$b2$$kFZJ 000201361 9132_ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF3-572$$1G:(DE-HGF)POF3-570$$2G:(DE-HGF)POF3-500$$aDE-HGF$$bKey Technologies$$lDecoding the Human Brain$$v(Dys-)function and Plasticity$$x0 000201361 9131_ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF2-333$$1G:(DE-HGF)POF2-330$$2G:(DE-HGF)POF2-300$$3G:(DE-HGF)POF2$$4G:(DE-HGF)POF$$aDE-HGF$$bGesundheit$$lFunktion und Dysfunktion des Nervensystems$$vPathophysiological Mechanisms of Neurological and Psychiatric Diseases$$x0 000201361 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0100$$2StatID$$aJCR 000201361 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0110$$2StatID$$aWoS$$bScience Citation Index 000201361 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0111$$2StatID$$aWoS$$bScience Citation Index Expanded 000201361 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0150$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bWeb of Science Core Collection 000201361 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0199$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bThomson Reuters Master Journal List 000201361 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0200$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bSCOPUS 000201361 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0300$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bMedline 000201361 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0310$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bNCBI Molecular Biology Database 000201361 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)1050$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bBIOSIS Previews 000201361 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)1110$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bCurrent Contents - Clinical Medicine 000201361 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)9900$$2StatID$$aIF < 5 000201361 9201_ $$0I:(DE-Juel1)INM-3-20090406$$kINM-3$$lKognitive Neurowissenschaften$$x0 000201361 980__ $$areview 000201361 980__ $$aVDB 000201361 980__ $$ajournal 000201361 980__ $$aI:(DE-Juel1)INM-3-20090406 000201361 980__ $$aUNRESTRICTED
