In more detail, the results of CFD simulations in the field of human respiration, i.e., for the simulation of the flow in the human nasal cavity and particle depositions in the human lung using a Lattice-Boltzmann and a coupled Lagrange particle solver is presented. Furthermore, recent advances in the simulation of aircraft noise are given.
