The central calorimeter provided particle identification, energy determination and neutron detection in addition to time-of-flight and angle measurements from other detector parts. Thus all pion production channels were recorded with 1-4 overconstraints. The main emphasis is put on the presentation and discussion of the npp+ channel, since the results on the other channels have already been published previously. The total and differential cross-sections obtained are compared to theoretical calculations. In contrast to the pp pi(0) channel we observe in the np pi(+) channel a strong influence of the Delta excitation. In particular, the pion angular distribution exhibits a (3cos(2) circle minus + 1)-dependence, typical for a pure s-channel Delta excitation and identical to that observed in the dp+ channel. Since the latter is understood by a s-channel resonance in the D-1(2) pn partial wave, we discuss an analogous scenario for the pn pi(+) channel. 000008500 536__ $$0G:(DE-Juel1)FUEK413$$2G:(DE-HGF)$$aPhysik der Hadronen und Kerne$$cP53$$x0 000008500 588__ $$aDataset connected to Web of Science 000008500 650_7 $$2INSPIRE$$ap p: exclusive reaction 000008500 650_7 $$2INSPIRE$$api+: hadroproduction 000008500 650_7 $$2INSPIRE$$api0: hadroproduction 000008500 650_7 $$2INSPIRE$$across section: energy dependence 000008500 650_7 $$2INSPIRE$$ap: angular distribution 000008500 650_7 $$2INSPIRE$$aDelta(1232) 000008500 650_7 $$2INSPIRE$$aimpulse approximation: plane wave 000008500 650_7 $$2INSPIRE$$aspectrometer: time-of-flight 000008500 650_7 $$2INSPIRE$$aexperimental results 000008500 650_7 $$2INSPIRE$$aJuelich COSY PS 000008500 650_7 $$2INSPIRE$$ap p --> 2 nucleon pi 000008500 650_7 $$2INSPIRE$$ap p --> deuteron pi+ 000008500 650_7 $$2INSPIRE$$a0.95 GeV/c 000008500 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aBilger, R.$$b1 000008500 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aBrinkmann, K.$$b2 000008500 7001_ $$0P:(DE-Juel1)VDB73156$$aet, al$$b3$$uFZJ 000008500 773__ $$0PERI:(DE-600)1459066-9$$a10.1140/epja/i2008-10721-4$$gVol. 39, p. 281 - 289$$p281 - 289$$q39<281 - 289$$tThe @European physical journal / A$$v39$$x1434-6001$$y2009 000008500 8567_ $$uhttp://dx.doi.org/10.1140/epja/i2008-10721-4 000008500 8564_ $$uhttps://juser.fz-juelich.de/record/8500/files/0807.1189v2.pdf$$yOpenAccess 000008500 8564_ $$uhttps://juser.fz-juelich.de/record/8500/files/0807.1189v2.gif?subformat=icon$$xicon$$yOpenAccess 000008500 8564_ $$uhttps://juser.fz-juelich.de/record/8500/files/0807.1189v2.jpg?subformat=icon-180$$xicon-180$$yOpenAccess 000008500 8564_ $$uhttps://juser.fz-juelich.de/record/8500/files/0807.1189v2.jpg?subformat=icon-700$$xicon-700$$yOpenAccess 000008500 8564_ $$uhttps://juser.fz-juelich.de/record/8500/files/0807.1189v2.pdf?subformat=pdfa$$xpdfa$$yOpenAccess 000008500 909CO $$ooai:juser.fz-juelich.de:8500$$pdnbdelivery$$pVDB$$pdriver$$popen_access$$popenaire 000008500 9141_ $$y2009 000008500 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0510$$2StatID$$aOpenAccess 000008500 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0010$$aJCR/ISI refereed 000008500 9131_ $$0G:(DE-Juel1)FUEK413$$aDE-HGF$$bStruktur der Materie$$kP53$$lPhysik der Hadronen und Kerne$$vPhysik der Hadronen und Kerne$$x0 000008500 9201_ $$0I:(DE-Juel1)IKP-1-20111104$$gIKP$$kIKP-1$$lExperimentelle Hadronstruktur$$x0 000008500 970__ $$aVDB:(DE-Juel1)117462 000008500 980__ $$aVDB 000008500 980__ $$aConvertedRecord 000008500 980__ $$ajournal 000008500 980__ $$aI:(DE-Juel1)IKP-1-20111104 000008500 980__ $$aUNRESTRICTED 000008500 9801_ $$aUNRESTRICTED 000008500 9801_ $$aFullTexts
