In recent experiments, such a source was used to polarize both isotopes independently at the same time. By recombination of the atoms, hydrogen-deuterium molecules with all possible nuclear spin combinations can be created. Those spin isomers are useful for further applications, like precision spectroscopy, as polarized targets for laser-particle acceleration, polarized fuel for fusion reactors, or as an option for future measurements of electric dipole moments.}, cin = {IKP-2 / IKP-4 / PGI-6}, ddc = {530}, cid = {I:(DE-Juel1)IKP-2-20111104 / I:(DE-Juel1)IKP-4-20111104 / I:(DE-Juel1)PGI-6-20110106}, pnm = {612 - Cosmic Matter in the Laboratory (POF3-612) / 631 - Accelerator R $\&$ D (POF3-631)}, pid = {G:(DE-HGF)POF3-612 / G:(DE-HGF)POF3-631}, typ = {PUB:(DE-HGF)16}, pubmed = {pmid:32242681}, UT = {WOS:000519995000004}, doi = {10.1103/PhysRevLett.124.113003}, url = {https://juser.fz-juelich.de/record/873790}, }
