Abstract: Epitaxial thin films of La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 were prepared by high oxygen pressure sputter deposition on SrTiO3 substrates at various oxygen partial pressures. In addition, we performed after preparation systematic oxygen desorption and absorption studies by thermal annealing or oxygen plasma processing, respectively. We derive a phase diagram with respect to the crystal structure (Perovskite vs. Brownmillerite), the magnetic behavior (ferromagnetic vs. antiferromagnetic) and the transport properties (metallic vs. insulating) for various annealing conditions.
