Abstract: We are going to build a complete target-moderator-reflector (TMR) unit at the JULICcyclotron as a low-power prototype for the future HBS TMR stations. Despite the lowpower (20 W average power) we want to demonstrate that useful instrumentationis feasible already at this power level.We received a request from the neutron guide production companies for additionalcharacterization opportunities after the shutdown of the BER-II reactor. In thispresentation, we will sketch our first design parameters for a reflectometerbeamline suitable for the characterization of supermirror elements.
