AB - With the development of software engineering, several tools have been developed and improved for the visualization and analysis of evacuation simulations in buildings. However, the existing software for pedestrian traffic researches is usually dependent on a specific operating system platform or development kit. While it enables the developer to use the tool easily, it also limits the scenarios in which the tool can be applied. There are several technologies on the market that are designed to provide a cross-platform solution and a reliable architecture for software, making it easier to enhance the software itself. With the goal of making cross-platform software for the visualization and analysis of pedestrian traffic more flexible, a new software is presented in this thesis. The new software is based on the development of modern technologies and can be run on different operating systems and devices. It also allows researchers to easily access the software without being restricted by devices or operating systems. Functionally, the new software is able to visualize the geometry of buildings and the trajectories of pedestrians. For visualization, both 2D and 3D are implemented in the new software, so that researchers can switch between them as needed. In addition to the graphical layer, the software also allows the user to interact with the scene to better observe the geometry and pedestrians. Finally, the analysis module is merged with the software to analyze explorative data from simulations and to generate fundamental diagrams. The new software allows the fundamental diagrams to be displayed directly, which helps researchers to better understand the process of simulation.
