So far, bidirectional horizontal movements have been investigated through various field studies and controlled experiments, but such movements on stairs are rarely paid attention to, especially those based on trajectories. In this paper we investigate bidirectional flow on stairs at different flow ratios ranging from 0.1 to 0.9. Preliminary results such as lane formation, crossing time and fundamental diagrams in three movement scenarios are presented, and the characteristics of the descending and ascending pedestrians are compared. Our results can be applied for the validation and calibration of simulation models on stairs. 000889239 536__ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF3-511$$a511 - Computational Science and Mathematical Methods (POF3-511)$$cPOF3-511$$fPOF III$$x0 000889239 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aZhang, Jun$$b1 000889239 7001_ $$0P:(DE-Juel1)132077$$aChraibi, Mohcine$$b2$$ufzj 000889239 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aSong, Weiguo$$b3 000889239 773__ $$a10.1007/978-3-030-55973-1_36 000889239 8564_ $$uhttps://juser.fz-juelich.de/record/889239/files/Bidirectional%20Flow%20on%20Stairs%20at%20Different%20Flow%20Ratios.pdf$$yOpenAccess 000889239 909CO $$ooai:juser.fz-juelich.de:889239$$pdnbdelivery$$pdriver$$pVDB$$popen_access$$popenaire 000889239 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588b)5008462-8$$6P:(DE-Juel1)132077$$aForschungszentrum Jülich$$b2$$kFZJ 000889239 9131_ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF3-511$$1G:(DE-HGF)POF3-510$$2G:(DE-HGF)POF3-500$$3G:(DE-HGF)POF3$$4G:(DE-HGF)POF$$aDE-HGF$$bKey Technologies$$lSupercomputing & Big Data$$vComputational Science and Mathematical Methods$$x0 000889239 9141_ $$y2020 000889239 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0510$$2StatID$$aOpenAccess 000889239 920__ $$lyes 000889239 9201_ $$0I:(DE-Juel1)IAS-7-20180321$$kIAS-7$$lZivile Sicherheitsforschung$$x0 000889239 980__ $$acontrib 000889239 980__ $$aVDB 000889239 980__ $$aUNRESTRICTED 000889239 980__ $$acontb 000889239 980__ $$aI:(DE-Juel1)IAS-7-20180321 000889239 9801_ $$aFullTexts
