AB  - Sustainable and resilient agriculture with a low impact on the environment is pivotal to ensure food security for a growing global population. This is of particular importance faced with the unprecedented challenge of climate change (FAO., 2017) for crop production. Sustainable intensification or currently rather the conservation of yield (Rosenqvist et al., 2019) requires the consideration of the entire crop production pipeline, ranging from breeding and identifying varieties adapted to specific environmental conditions, to improving agricultural land management (agriculture 5.0, Saiz-Rubio and Rovira-Más, 2020).
