For oncological brain imaging, different amino acid PET radiopharmaceuticals have been introduced in the last years. The purpose of this document is to provide imaging specialists and clinicians guidelines for indication, acquisition, and interpretation of [18F]FDG and radiolabelled amino acid PET in paediatric patients affected by brain gliomas. There is no high level of evidence for all recommendations suggested in this paper. These recommendations represent instead the consensus opinion of experienced leaders in the field. Further studies are needed to reach evidence-based recommendations for the applications of [18F]FDG and radiolabelled amino acid PET in paediatric neuro-oncology. These recommendations are not intended to be a substitute for national and international legal or regulatory provisions and should be considered in the context of good practice in nuclear medicine. The present guidelines/standards were developed collaboratively by the EANM and SNMMI with the European Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOPE) Brain Tumour Group and the Response Assessment in Paediatric Neuro-Oncology (RAPNO) working group. They summarize also the views of the Neuroimaging and Oncology and Theranostics Committees of the EANM and reflect recommendations for which the EANM and other societies cannot be held responsible.Keywords: DOPA; FDG; FET; Gliomas; MET; PET-CT; Paediatric PET; Paediatric brain imaging; Paediatric oncology. 000909624 536__ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF4-5252$$a5252 - Brain Dysfunction and Plasticity (POF4-525)$$cPOF4-525$$fPOF IV$$x0 000909624 588__ $$aDataset connected to CrossRef, Journals: juser.fz-juelich.de 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aAlbert, Nathalie L.$$b1 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aBorgwardt, Lise$$b2 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aFahey, Frederic H.$$b3 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aHargrave, Darren$$b4 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-Juel1)143792$$aGalldiks, Norbert$$b5 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aJehanno, Nina$$b6 000909624 7001_ $$00000-0002-3396-4880$$aKurch, Lars$$b7$$eCorresponding author 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aLaw, Ian$$b8 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aLim, Ruth$$b9 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aLopci, Egesta$$b10 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aMarner, Lisbeth$$b11 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aMorana, Giovanni$$b12 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aYoung Poussaint, Tina$$b13 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aSeghers, Victor J.$$b14 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aShulkin, Barry L.$$b15 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aWarren, Katherine E.$$b16 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aTraub-Weidinger, Tatjana$$b17 000909624 7001_ $$0P:(DE-HGF)0$$aZucchetta, Pietro$$b18 000909624 773__ $$0PERI:(DE-600)2098375-X$$a10.1007/s00259-022-05817-6$$gVol. 49, no. 11, p. 3852 - 3869$$n11$$p3852 - 3869$$tEuropean journal of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging$$v49$$x0340-6997$$y2022 000909624 8564_ $$uhttps://juser.fz-juelich.de/record/909624/files/PDF.pdf$$yOpenAccess 000909624 909CO $$ooai:juser.fz-juelich.de:909624$$pdnbdelivery$$pdriver$$pVDB$$popen_access$$popenaire 000909624 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588b)5008462-8$$6P:(DE-Juel1)143792$$aForschungszentrum Jülich$$b5$$kFZJ 000909624 9131_ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF4-525$$1G:(DE-HGF)POF4-520$$2G:(DE-HGF)POF4-500$$3G:(DE-HGF)POF4$$4G:(DE-HGF)POF$$9G:(DE-HGF)POF4-5252$$aDE-HGF$$bKey Technologies$$lNatural, Artificial and Cognitive Information Processing$$vDecoding Brain Organization and Dysfunction$$x0 000909624 9141_ $$y2022 000909624 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0113$$2StatID$$aWoS$$bScience Citation Index Expanded$$d2021-02-02 000909624 915__ $$0LIC:(DE-HGF)CCBY4$$2HGFVOC$$aCreative Commons Attribution CC BY 4.0 000909624 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)3002$$2StatID$$aDEAL Springer$$d2021-02-02$$wger 000909624 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0510$$2StatID$$aOpenAccess 000909624 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0160$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bEssential Science Indicators$$d2021-02-02 000909624 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0100$$2StatID$$aJCR$$bEUR J NUCL MED MOL I : 2021$$d2022-11-23 000909624 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0200$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bSCOPUS$$d2022-11-23 000909624 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0300$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bMedline$$d2022-11-23 000909624 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0600$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bEbsco Academic Search$$d2022-11-23 000909624 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0030$$2StatID$$aPeer Review$$bASC$$d2022-11-23 000909624 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0199$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bClarivate Analytics Master Journal List$$d2022-11-23 000909624 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0150$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bWeb of Science Core Collection$$d2022-11-23 000909624 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)1110$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bCurrent Contents - Clinical Medicine$$d2022-11-23 000909624 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)1030$$2StatID$$aDBCoverage$$bCurrent Contents - Life Sciences$$d2022-11-23 000909624 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)9910$$2StatID$$aIF >= 10$$bEUR J NUCL MED MOL I : 2021$$d2022-11-23 000909624 920__ $$lyes 000909624 9201_ $$0I:(DE-Juel1)INM-3-20090406$$kINM-3$$lKognitive Neurowissenschaften$$x0 000909624 980__ $$ajournal 000909624 980__ $$aVDB 000909624 980__ $$aUNRESTRICTED 000909624 980__ $$aI:(DE-Juel1)INM-3-20090406 000909624 9801_ $$aFullTexts
