Such CP-violating mechanisms are searched for to explain the dominance of matter over anti-matter in our universe. This paper discusses EDM searches of charged hadrons in storage rings.The document focuses on activities at the existing storage ring COSY at Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany and the design of a 100 m circumference prototype ring able to demonstrate key technologies and components. These include simultaneous clockwise and counter-clockwise beam operation with electrostatic bending elements and, by adding a magnetic field, the frozen spin technique. 000916713 536__ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF4-612$$a612 - Cosmic Matter in the Laboratory (POF4-612)$$cPOF4-612$$fPOF IV$$x0 000916713 536__ $$0G:(EU-Grant)694340$$asrEDM - Search for electric dipole moments using storage rings (694340)$$c694340$$fERC-2015-AdG$$x1 000916713 588__ $$aDataset connected to CrossRef Conference 000916713 693__ $$0EXP:(DE-Juel1)JEDI-20170712$$5EXP:(DE-Juel1)JEDI-20170712$$eJülich Electric Dipole moment Investigations$$x0 000916713 773__ $$a10.7566/JPSCP.37.011009 000916713 8564_ $$uhttps://juser.fz-juelich.de/record/916713/files/jpscp.37.011009.pdf$$yOpenAccess 000916713 909CO $$ooai:juser.fz-juelich.de:916713$$pdnbdelivery$$pec_fundedresources$$pVDB$$pdriver$$popen_access$$popenaire 000916713 9101_ $$0I:(DE-588b)5008462-8$$6P:(DE-Juel1)156288$$aForschungszentrum Jülich$$b0$$kFZJ 000916713 9131_ $$0G:(DE-HGF)POF4-612$$1G:(DE-HGF)POF4-610$$2G:(DE-HGF)POF4-600$$3G:(DE-HGF)POF4$$4G:(DE-HGF)POF$$aDE-HGF$$bForschungsbereich Materie$$lMatter and the Universe$$vCosmic Matter in the Laboratory$$x0 000916713 9141_ $$y2022 000916713 915__ $$0StatID:(DE-HGF)0510$$2StatID$$aOpenAccess 000916713 915__ $$0LIC:(DE-HGF)CCBY4$$2HGFVOC$$aCreative Commons Attribution CC BY 4.0 000916713 920__ $$lyes 000916713 9201_ $$0I:(DE-Juel1)IKP-2-20111104$$kIKP-2$$lExperimentelle Hadrondynamik$$x0 000916713 980__ $$acontrib 000916713 980__ $$aVDB 000916713 980__ $$aUNRESTRICTED 000916713 980__ $$aI:(DE-Juel1)IKP-2-20111104 000916713 9801_ $$aFullTexts
