AB  - Observations of ecosystem processes inform about states of their function and health. However, discrepancies between site-scale and spatiotemporal estimations still pose a challenge for robust interpretations. Here we present causal networks of ecosystem processes on different scales to improve the understanding of the underlying representation of the ecosystem.
