Efficient OER Catalyst with Low Ir Volume Density Obtained by Homogeneous Deposition of Iridium Oxide Nanoparticles on Macroporous Antimony‐Doped Tin Oxide Support
A multistep synthesis procedure for the homogeneous coating of a complex porous conductive oxide with small Ir nanoparticles is introduced to obtain a highly active electrocatalyst for water oxidation. At first, inverse opal macroporous Sb doped SnO2 (ATO) microparticles with defined pore size, composition, and open‐porous morphology are synthesized that reach a conductivity of ≈3.6 S cm−1 and are further used as catalyst support. [...]

A general perturbative approach for bead-based microswimmers reveals rich self-propulsion phenomena
Studies of model microswimmers have significantly contributed tothe understanding of the principles of self-propulsion we have today. However, only a small number of microswimmer types have been amenable to analyticmodeling, and further development of such approaches is necessary to identifythe key features of these active systems. [...]

Heat Conduction Characteristic of Rarefied Gas in Nanochannels
Nonequilibrium molecular dynamics simulations is applied to investigate the simultaneous effect of rarefaction and wall force field on the heat conduction characteristics of nano-confined rarefied argon gas. The interactive thermal wall model is used to specify the desired temperature on the walls while the Irving-Kirkwood expression is implemented for calculating the heat flux. [...]

Effect of wall stiffness, mass and potential interaction strength on heat transfer characteristics of nanoscale-confined gas
The interactive thermal wall model is applied in three-dimensional molecular dynamics simulations to investigate the combined effect of the wall force field, the wall stiffness, the wall atom mass and the wall/gas interaction potential strength on the heat transfer characteristics of static rarefied argon gas within a nanochannel. By increasing the wall stiffness, a reduction in the heat flux through the gas medium occurs which leads to a higher temperature jump. [...]
