Abstract: The Eclipse Parallel Tools Platform (PTP) represents a development environment for parallel applications. It supports programming languages C/C++ and Fortran. Its main components are system monitoring, code analysis, a parallel debugger for OpenMPI and simple integration of external tools such as profilers. This talk gives a brief overview of PTP's functionality for supporting the development of parallel applications. It demonstrates how PTP can be applied for the supercomputers of the Jülich Supercomputing Center.
