HOW TO MASTER LIGHT MESONDYNAMICS:from hadron spectroscopy to CP phases

2018

7th International Symposium on Symmetries in Subatomic Physics, SSP2018, AachenAachen, Germany, 10 Jun 2018 - 15 Jun 20182018-06-102018-06-15

Abstract: Heavy meson decays into light hadrons are a prime source to access CP violating phases. Since these show up via the interference of different amplitudes it is mandatory - especially to get sensitive to very small signals as expected, e.g.,in D-decays - to model independently control the hadronic final state interactions. In this talk it is discussed to what extend this goal can be achieved already now and also what are the perspectives for the future.
