Socioeconomic and lifestyle factors predict the association between sleep health and depression
Objective: Sleep health and depression are interconnected multidimensional constructs, yet their shared determinants remain obscure. Understanding the role of socioeconomic/lifestyle factors in predicting sleep-related depression (SRD) is critical for preventive strategies. [...]

SEISMIC SIGNAL PREDICTION USINGACCELEROMETER ARRAYS FOR ONLINENEWTONIAN-NOISE MITIGATION ON FPGA
XVI ET Symposium 2026, Agricultural University of Georgia,Aachen, Agricultural University of Georgia,, Germany, 15 Jun 2026 - 19 Jun 20262026-06-152026-06-19
Seismic and environmental noise, particularly Newtonian noise, constitute a fundamentallimitation for the Einstein Telescope, motivating the development ofadvanced, data-driven approaches for noise mitigation to improve the sensitivityand operational stability of its interferometric systems. Real-time compensationof Newtonian noise can improve sensitivity of the sensor and allow rapidtriggering of multi-messenger observations when a gravitational wave signal isdetected.A neural network is trained to reconstruct the waveform of a target sensorbased on measurements from neighboring nodes. Synergistic Cu‐Fe Interactions Enhance Phase Transformation Kinetics Toward High‐Performance $CuFeS_2$ ‐Based All‐Solid‐State Batteries
Chalcopyrite ($CuFeS_2$), composed of earth-abundant and environmentally benign elements, was synthesized via solid-state sintering of an equimolar $CuS$/$FeS$ mixture and evaluated as a cathode material for lithium all-solid-state batteries (ASSBs). $CuFeS_2$ was compared with a mixture of the $CuS$ and $FeS$ parent materials, which are theoretically expected to show similar conversion reaction products during lithiation. [...]

Proton Substructure and Conductivity of the Room-Temperature Proton Conductors $Zr_{1−x}Sc_xH_{5+x}(PO_4)_3$
Solid proton conductors are an important materials class when it comes to the further development of hydrogen-based devices for energy generation and storage. These applications make it essential to get high proton conductivity and stability at around 25 °C without the need for additional humidification. [...]
