Abstract: Patients with various sleep disorders report diverse nocturnal/daytime symptoms, but some of them are similar. Likewise, healthy individuals with experimental sleep deprivation report similar complaints, suggesting common neurobiological substrates. In this pre-registered study, we investigated the specific/shared neural correlates across sleep disorders and sleep deprivation using a multimodal coordinate-based meta-analysis (CBMA).
