Abstract: Ths backup infrastructure for HPC at the Jülich supercomputing centre is based on IBM Storage Protect (TSM). In this talk the whole setup is descriped taking into account the used storage hardware like tape, disk servers and the fibre channel SAN. Also included is the use of the REST API available on the IBM TS4500 tape library by the monitoring system.
