Abstract: This ISC2025 BoF session presents the approach and early results of the SPECTRUM project (funded by the European Commission in the Horizon Europe program). SPECTRUM analyses the requirements of scientific communities with a focus on high energy physics and radio astronomy, contrasts them to currently available and planned research infrastructures, and creates a blueprint and strategic research agenda for a co-evolution of communities and research infrastructures. The session focuses on the approach and early results (of the first, analysis phase) and strives to solicit feedback and establish connections to the HPC community represented at ISC 2025.
