Abstract: We provide here the code and data for our manuscript 'Compression of ERA5 meteorological reanalysis data and their application to simulations with the Lagrangian model for Massive Parallel Trajectory Calculations (MPTRAC v2.7)' that we have submitted to Geoscientific Model Development. With the here provided code and data our results presented in the manuscript can be reproduced.
