Abstract: Carbon materials exhibit more or less electronic conductivity and as a consequence strong polarization effects when they are mixed with other less conductive materials, e.g. in supercapacitors or as biochar in soil. Results on the influence of chemical composition, particle size and other physical and chemical properties of such mixtures on induced polarization will be presented.
