Abstract: This paper describes the use of a central database for storing the TEXTOR-94 machine parameters as defined by the engineer in charge. Furthermore, the possibility of writing an online experiment logbook is given to the physicist in charge, An online display of the comments for a discharge, given by the physicist, is installed. In addition the plasma quantities, necessary for the characterization of a discharge, are evaluated and stored within the database. An overview picture is created from the stored data with important time traces as plasma current, density and temperature and stored as a graphic interchangeable format file in the database. With a central worldwide web (WEB)-application server and a commercial WEB-browser the stored information can be accessed from different locations, specially from the home base of the three Trilateral Euregio, Cluster partners.
