Abstract: We report on a search for mu - e conversion in muonic gold performed with the SINDRUM II spectrometer at PSI. The measurement resulted in Gamma(mu Au- -> e(-)Aug(g.s.))/Gamma(Capture)(mu Au-) < 7 x 10(-13) (90% C.L.).
