000006513 520__ $$aMirror image phage display is a straightforward approach to identify new potentially therapeutically active D-enantiomeric peptides. Such D-peptides are more resistant to proteolytic degradation compared to L-peptides. In this review, several examples of mirror image phage display derived D-peptides with therapeutical potential are introduced and discussed.
