Abstract: JULIA and JURON are two systems procured for the Human Brain Project in the scope of a pre-commercial procurement process at Jülich Supercomputing Centre. JURON, a Minsky system consisting of 18 nodes each equipped with 2 sockets of IBM POWER8' CPUs and 4 NVIDIA Tesla P100 GPUs, is in heavy use. This talk highlights some of the brain research applications running on the system.
