Zentraler Erfolgsfaktor der Entwicklung wardie Kombination aus softwaretechnischer Expertise, einer klaren Vision des zuentwickelnden Systems und der Einbringung von fachlichem Domänenwissenin die Entwicklung. Mit einem noch stärkeren Einbezug von Domänenwissenund einer deutlich stärkeren Berücksichtigung interdisziplinärer Dynamikenhätte der Entwicklungsprozess weiter optimiert werden können. As part of the building phase and the first operating phase of the Research Data Centre for Higher Education Research and Science Studies, an interdisciplinary team developed a complex web-based information technology system between 2015 and 2019. The metadata management system serves to identify the research data available in the Research Data Centre, to record and edit the metadata for this data in a structured way and to search the available metadata. The central success factor of the development was the combination of software engineering expertise, a clear vision of the system to be developed and the integration of domain knowledge into the development. With an even stronger inclusion of domain knowledge and a significantly stronger consideration of interdisciplinary dynamics, the development process could have been furtheroptimized. |
