Abstract: We review recent results on the QCD phase transition line and second-order fluctuations and correlators of conserved charges calculated in lattice QCD. In the case of fluctuations, we compare them to the Hadron Resonance Gas model and construct proxies that allow a direct comparison between first principle simulations and measurements.
