Abstract: We present the progress in sample environment at the Julich Centre for Neutron Science (JCNS) at MLZ. During the last several years, JCNS Sample Environmental group made a big progress in updating and maintenance of the old cryogenic equipment and introducing the new ones. In addition to the tradition Orange-type wet cryostats, several cryogen-free closed cycle cryostats are in use. Recently new actively shielded asymmetric vertical field split-coil superconducting magnet with maximal field of 8T has been procured and implemented on the beam line of POLI instrument. It provides a large angular acceptance for the scattering beam of 300° in the horizontal and 30° (-5°/+25°) in the vertical plane respectively. Which permit both a right- and left-handed scattering geometry. This magnet allows making measurements in the temperature range 1.4-800K [1]. To extend this temperature interval an additional 3He-4He dilution insert was added. During preliminary tests of Kelvinox JT we reached 16mK in the absence of the neutron beam. An additional vacuum can allow using it also with the 12T magnet at PANDA instrument. In future we plan use this and similar Kelvinox JT inserts at other wet and dry cryostats, as well at the other magnets. The main advantage of such dilution insert is that due to the Joule-Thompson stage it is possible to run it directly from a 4K environment.
