Abstract: For this study the carbon dioxid emissions due to the ernergy use in the Federal Republic of Germany were calculated for 1987 and 1989. Corresponding to the typical carbon content, there were determinated specific carbon-dioxid-emission-factors belonging to the different fuels. Typical fuel compositions were appointed by different competent institutions.
