In accordance with the invention a dipole antenna array is provided, in which the dipole antenna elements (1) have a folding (2) at one end, which folding consists of a bend (3), a bent region (4), and the projection of the bent region (5) of the dipole antenna element (1) over the length of the dipole antenna element (1), the dipole antenna elements at least partially enclosing a cavity. The dipole antenna array is used in an MR-PET or ME-SPECT device, which also forms part of the subject matter of the invention.
