Abstract: From May 29 to June 1, 2023, the University of Iceland in Reykjavik hosted the third "High Performance and Disruptive Computing in Remote Sensing" school. Organized by the HDCRS Working Group of the GRSS Earth Science Informatics Technical Committee (ESI TC), the event aimed to educate attendees on the latest advancements in parallel and scalable computing algorithms and technologies as they pertain to remote sensing. The curriculum spanned four key topics and integrated theoretical knowledge with practical exercises. With over 100 global registrations, 30 individuals were chosen for the in-person event in Reykjavik, based on a rigorous selection process emphasizing diversity, experience, and skills. All sessions have been made accessible on the GRSS YouTube channel, and the event saw participants from 15 countries across 4 continents.
