Abstract: A lab scale polymer electrolyte fuel cell (PEFC) with a power of 9 W and an active area of 17.64 cm² was operated with 90% humidity and a stoichiometry factor of two in galvanostatic mode. Load cycles were applied to the PEFC, and the dynamic voltages were monitored. During the experiments shown in jump-run.zip, seven attributes of operating conditions were varied. The experimental setup is specified in detail by Shi [1]. The data files are according to section 5.1 in [1]. The data files in the path jump-run/ contain terms like 0.x-yy, where 0.x is the upper level of the load ramp, starting at 0.2 A cm-2, yy is a numbering of the set of operating conditions, listed in the file 'ramp-up-Experimental setup of DoE methode.pdf'. The parameters A to G are according to Table 5-1 in [1]. The files in the path ramp-up/ contain experiments operated under stepwise increasing electrical load as specified in the file 'jump-dynamic-Experimental setup of dynamic DoE methode.pdf'. The parameters A to G are according to Table 6-1 in [1]. Data with constant operating conditions and different ramp characteristics are published by Froning and et al. [2].
