Abstract: The interaction between the electrical and thermal systems can increase the impact of the load variations on the voltage profiles. To compensate for undesired voltage violations, control algorithms can leverage the flexibility of the Distributed Energy Resources. Hence, this paper presents a coordinated voltage control for a Medium Voltage distribution grid tested with the HIL set-up of the Forschungszentrum Jülich campus. This set-up is enhanced by integrating the real-time measurements of the electrical and thermal demands collected from the field. The voltage control is then tested in a scenario of undervoltage and, for one of the grid nodes, the control set-point is applied to a large Battery Energy Storage System installed in the campus.
