Abstract: Paul J. Crutzen was a brilliant scientist and a pioneer in atmospheric sciences. At the same time, hewas a kind-hearted, humorous and pleasant person. This tribute bringstogether a series of anecdotes shared by friends and colleagues, offering a more intimate portrait of the manbehind the science.
