Abstract: This thesis contains an integrated study of the development andpresent state of an oil field in the Southern Po Valley ofNorthern Italy which is operated by AGIP S .p .A ., San DonatoMilanese, Italy . 'Integrated' indicates that an attempt has beenmade to investigate all relevant geological and geophysicalaspects and to integrate this 'classic' information into a moredetailed, quantified report using computer-aided basin simulationmethods developed by Integrated Exploration Systems (IES) ofJuelich, West Germany .
